Measures energy and emissions automatically

Recognises what’s plugged into it
It identifies the appliance itself, and spots when its behaviour changes.
Switches off remotely — but never something in use
Waste gets cut. An appliance someone is deliberately using stays on.
An electronic fuse that acts first
It cuts power before the physical fuse in the plug blows, and tells you it did.
A carbon intensity light
Green means low-carbon power. The light shifts with the grid, nudging everyone to plug in at the right time.
Physical override buttons
